Week 6: Reformat “First Songs as R-grams” (plus 2 other things…)
Reformat “First Songs as R-grams” section by doing the following:(complete)
Add a R-gram of the rhythm of the song at the beginning of each song section (ta’s & t’s).
Add a study sheet for Pierot’s Door.
Format the look to match other sections (add borders)
- Create a template for the “Hot/Mary/Pierot in traditional notation” section that includes the “How to Break Down a Song” information (This is the “First Songs in Traditional Notation” section).
- Write an explanation of the “Saying then Playing” section.

I didn’t complete all the parts of my book project this week. (Saturday afternoon was my UCB 201 graduation show… Saturday evening I was traveling, and Sunday I was out of town…). On the plus side I’m really happy with the work that I did get done. Not finishing was mainly a time management issue this week… as in I didn’t manage my time right for the amount of things that I wanted to get done. Live and learn, I guess.
